Sopockie Perły is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in Poland. The guidelines were clear: a single, cohesive visual identity and a single, seamless animation to accompany the entire event.
The first edition was built from scratch over the course of a week of intensive work. When Sopockie Perły returned a year later, that week was reduced to two days, because the system we had built was robust enough to handle the next edition with just content updates.
A visual system designed to come to life on screen, not just on slides.
The most challenging element was the animation system. Rolling balls that built suspense during the drawing. Medal-shaped categories that rotated to reveal the winner’s photo. Animated captions synchronized with what was happening on stage.
Putting it all together required a level of focus that a regular deck never demands.
